本サイトの開設者は稲垣博史（いながきひろし）、1969年生まれ。1991年に早稲田大学政治経済学部政治学科を卒業。同年より31年にわたり企業内のエコノミストとして主に新興国の調査に従事し、東欧担当を皮切りとして、アジアを中心に幅広い経済を観察。この間、香港とシンガポールに5年ずつ駐在。現在はエコノミストとしての業務から離れたものの、自らの知見を少しでも世の役に立てたいとの思いから2023年にペンネームによる自由な立場での情報発信を開始し、2024年に本サイトを開設して本名での情報発信に転換。
なお、本サイトでの記述内容は全て私見であり、現在・過去における私の所属機関の見解とは無関係である。

Born in 1969. Graduated from the Department of Political Science, School of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University in 1991.
For 31 years starting from the same year, I served as a corporate economist, primarily engaged in researching emerging economies. My career began with Eastern Europe and expanded to observing a wide range of economies, with a particular focus on Asia. During this period, I was stationed in Hong Kong for five years and Singapore for another five years.
Although I have since stepped away from my professional duties as an economist, I began sharing information under a pen name in 2023, driven by a desire to utilize my expertise for the public good from an independent standpoint. In 2024, I launched this website and transitioned to disseminating information under my real name.
